Videos: Using simulations to teach and transforming social learning
In February, USAID held its first Knowledge Management Expo at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, DC. The KM Expo provided an opportunity for staff and implementing partners to demonstrate how KM tools and practices are used at USAID to inform development programs and increase their impact. Zachary Baquet, Knowledge Management Advisor at the USAID Bureau for Food Security (and manager of our very own Agrilinks), led two sessions, "Life in the Village: Using Simulations to Teach" and "Transforming Social Media and Learning into Social Learning." If you engage (or are thinking of engaging) via simulations, social media, webinars, or other online tools, you don't want to miss this opportunity to hear from Zachary on specific lessons learned and ways to improve your use of these platforms.
