Improving Food Security and Nutrition Through Integrated Approaches
Event Information
Research on integrated Population, Health, and Environment (PHE) approaches has shown them to be effective at addressing a variety of challenges, such as health (including family planning/reproductive health), and natural resource management. Research has also linked integrated approaches with improved food security and nutrition.
In this webinar, Jimmiel Mandima (African Wildlife Foundation) and Nathalie Simoneau (World Wildlife Fund), co-authors of the report "Exploring Cross-Sector Linkages Between Population, Health, Environment, Nutrition, and Food Security: A Review of Best Practices and Lessons Learned" will present the work conducted by the Africa Biodiversity Collaborative Group's thematic working group, Global Health Linkages to Biodiversity Conservation, which identifies and develops synergies between critical ecosystem services, and human health and well-being.
This webinar will run for 1 hour, beginning at 8am EST/4pm EAT.
