Policy Priorities: Reporting on Policy Change {Feed the Future MEL Webinar Series}
Event Information
Measuring and reporting on progress in food security policy has been a challenge for Missions and for FTFMS, but BFS (MEL and Policy Divisions) has developed some practical solutions. At this webinar, we will be discussing the importance of policy in contributing to agriculture and food security systems change toward achievement of the GFSS objectives.
We will present an overview of the GFSS priority policies described in the country plans, and discuss implications. We will briefly present a new approach to measuring GFSS country policy performance based on these priority policies. And we will present how both USAID and Interagency partners as well as our many partners can set targets and report on improvements in the agriculture and food security policy system through a new indicator, the first multi-level indicator under Feed the Future:
- EG.3.1-d - Number of milestones in improved institutional architecture for food security policy achieved with USG support [Multi-Level]
We will include examples and leave plenty of time for Q&A in the chat box!
