Please join the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Integrated Pest Management for a webinar on new approaches to control the South American Tomato Leaf Miner (Tuta absoluta). The presenters will discuss efforts in modeling, surveillance and control of Tuta and how this work can apply to stopping the spread of other pests. Presenters include Nicolas Desneux Researcher from the Institut Sophia Agrobiotech Inra, PACA, France on the "Biology and Ecology of the South American tomato leafminer, Tuta absoluta," Abhijin Adiga, PhD Research Assistant Professor at the Network Dynamics and Simulation Science Laboratory (NDSSL), Biocomplexity Institute of Virginia Tech on the "Modeling the multi-pathway dispersal mechanisms of Tuta absoluta" and Thierry Brévault, PhD Insect Ecologist, CIRAD, France on "Management of Tuta absoluta."
