Good Practices in Webinar Facilitation
Event Information
Please join the USAID/Office of the CIO’s Knowledge Management Reference Group and the Office of Learning, Evaluation, & Research in the Bureau of Policy, Planning, & Learning on Wednesday, April 16 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am EDT for a discussion on Good Practices in Webinar Facilitation.
Webinars are increasingly used in our daily work to allow participants to attend seminars and meetings remotely from around the world. Although webinar programs are becoming more user-friendly, webinars don't run themselves - they require active facilitation to ensure that participants are validated and well-engaged with the content. Julie MacCartee (USAID/BFS) and Ashleigh Mullinax (Feed the Future Knowledge-Driven Agricultural Development (KDAD) project) will share successes and failures drawn from their experiences facilitating webinars for USAID over the past three years. They will highlight important steps to take before, during, and after webinars, and lead a discussion on good practice.
