Scaling up of Agricultural Machinery in Bangladesh: Review of Successful Agricultural Technologies
This report provides summary findings and conclusions from a case study examining the scaling up of agricultural machinery services through commercial pathways in southwest Bangladesh from 2012 to early 2016. It is one of a series of studies looking at successful scaling up of agricultural innovations in developing countries. USAID’s Bureau for Food Security (USAID/BFS) commissioned these studies as part of its efforts to scale up the impact of the Feed the Future food security initiative. The goal of these studies is to produce lessons learned and ultimately guidance for USAID and its country Missions interested in integrating a commercial pathways approach to scaling up into their FTF project designs, procurements, and implementation.
