The Feed the Future Enabling Environment for Food Security project has conducted a review of investments in enabling environment reform across seven bilateral Missions, five regional Missions, and the Bureau for Food Security. This comprehensive analysis examines program design approaches, key methods of engagement, and priority policy areas to better understand what has been effective, common challenges, and lessons learned in the first five years of Feed the Future. This document provides a short overview of the analysis and key findings from the review. The full report will be released on the project’s Agrilinks activity page in August 2016. Stay tuned!
The Feed the Future Enabling Environment for Food Security project is a global support mechanism for Feed the Future focused and aligned Missions and Washington-based USAID offices to address policies as well as legal, institutional, and regulatory factors that function as market constraints affecting food security. The project is available to support Missions’ enabling environment needs through technical analysis, advisory services, and strategic knowledge management.
