New briefs present insights and solutions for sustainable intensification of agriculture

A new publication series, from the CGIAR Research Program on Water, Land and Ecosystems (WLE), synthesizes the research findings and solutions generated during the program’s first phase, which was composed of more than 140 projects across 48 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Each brief is focused on a topic of strategic relevance to sustainable intensification of agriculture and provides analysis of and recommendations on how to place sustainability at the heart of agri-food systems.

This series aims to guide and support decision and policy makers, investors and others working to achieve poverty alleviation and livelihood improvements through sustainable intensification of agriculture. WLE is supported by CGIAR Fund Donors, including ACIAR, DFID, DGIS, SDC and others.
