New Enhancements to Agrilinks
Here on Agrilinks, frequent visitors may notice a slightly different look on the site. Our team has made small but mighty updates to Agrilinks, leading to a platform that is more accessible, more secure, with several enhanced features for Agrilinks members.
Our updates include higher color contrast, ensuring text is easier to read. We’ve required alt text on images going forward, which may seem minor, but allows screen readers to properly read a page.
For members, we’ve also added a “draft” functionality to the content creation process. This means members can draft content, save it, and come back later to edit it. Once members are ready, they can submit their content to moderation. When content is submitted, it goes straight to our Agrilinks moderation queue. We’ll review it and aim to publish within a week. The embedded videos below show step-by-step how to create an event and a post. Please note as a result of this site upgrade, all members will be prompted to update their password to log in.
Here at Agrilinks, we are so thankful for the outpouring of content our members continue to provide, keeping our community up to date and our site vibrant. Whether information on how satellites can monitor crop conditions or the novel coronavirus’s impact on food security, the experts in our community are key to moving food security forward, regardless of barriers.
These site updates are just the start of our work to continue to enhance Agrilinks and its usability for our members. Please reach out to us to let us know your feedback and any questions. You can reach us at [email protected] or by clicking “Leave Feedback” in the lower right hand corner.
As always, we are proud to serve this community and publish important content that strengthens communities around the world.
