I am the communications director for the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Horticulture, which is led by a team at the University of California, Davis, with funding from USAID.
The Horticulture Innovation Lab is a global research network that advances fruit and vegetable innovations, empowering smallholder farmers to earn more income while better nourishing their communities. Previously called Hort CRSP, the program has grown into a leader in the burgeoning field of horticulture for development, wherein high-value crops improve household incomes and community nutrition.
