Diana Boncheva Gooley

United States Sr. Digital Finance Advisor USAID

Diana is a Senior Digital Finance Advisor at USAID with the DDI Bureau Digital Finance team. Previous to joining USAID, Diana led Women's World Banking's Digital Financial Services (DFS) strategic advisory engagements. In this role, she worked with banks, mobile money providers and fintechs to help them improve services to low-income women around the world. Before her time at Women's World Banking, Diana worked in management consulting at Mondato, specializing in digital finance and mobile fintech.  There she headed Strategic Partnerships and Projects. She also launched and managed mobile parking, ticketing and debt collection projects for paythru, a Fintech startup in the UK. 

Diana holds an international affairs and economics graduate degree from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins, and an undergraduate degree from Sweet Briar College.
