Francois Sihimbiro is a Consultant in Agribusiness and Coffee development.  He holds an MSc in Agronomy Engineering and MBA in project management.

He has more than 30 years of experience in Project management supporting commodity-based value chains, the private sector, and producers. He developed his expertise in the coffee business, coffee processing technology, and international trading of high-quality coffee. He worked 15 years in Burundi respectively as Head of extension services in the coffee sector, and CEO of a Public-Private coffee processing and trading company, and 14 years in Rwanda as a consultant in Agro-business, where he introduced the fully washed coffee processing technology in 2002.   

In the early years of his carrier, he was involved in agriculture extension services, within an integrated project World Bank funded Project
