Godwin Tanda
My names are Tanda Godwin Ade. I am 43 years old. I am male and a Cameroonian by nationality. I was born on 29 April, 1976 in Bafut which is small village in Cameroon. I am married with four children. I studied Botany from the University of Dschang in Cameroon. I have completed a number of training courses on natural resources management, agriculture production, food security and policy formulations. I live in Limbe, South West Region of Cameroon in a village called Bonadikombo.
My late father used to be a survival farmer. with support from my mother who was a homemaker, my father worked really hard to support all of us. learned agricultural practice from my father since childhood. I grew up have keen interest on sustainable farming practices which includes agroforestry application and permaculture.
I currently work at the Environmental Protection and Development Association (EPDA) as the Co-founder and Executive Director. My responsibilities are to coordinate and lead team work on food security, environmental education and WASH. I have over 17 years of work experience in the nonprofit sector focusing on agricultural production and environmental resources management. I am a member of local and national networks on policy follow-up and cooperation strategy.
