United Kingdom Development Manager Sanku

Sanku, a fast growing social enterprise based in Tanzania, uses a market-based solution and innovative technology to combat hidden hunger and save lives by giving small mills the tools they need to fortify maize flour, an East African staple. Sanku currently provides access to the basic human right of nutrition for close to 2 million East Africans and is on track to reach 25 million people by 2025. To learn more: www.sanku.com.

I am Sanku's Development and Communications Manager, with almost a decade of international development experience, including four years managing a UK grantmaking foundation that funds high impact, cost-effective, evidence-based organizations, before joining Sanku to raise awareness about the potential of small-scale fortification to reduce malnutrition.
