The Jamaica Island Nutrition Network (JINN) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) in Jamaica with a vision is to improve the school nutrition environment of Jamaican students and thereby impact developmental outcomes of healthy school children who exhibit enhanced academic performance and all aspects of development to supply a continued quality labour force for the future development of Jamaica. We recognize that the inputs must emanate from public-private partnerships and involves three main sectors notably education, health and agriculture. Agriculture: for the provision of food from the private sector as well as home grown school feeding projects and management of the food pathways from production to consumption (from farm to fork).
