Kathryn Mullan has been with Bixal since May 2019 -- working across a variety of contracts in several communications and content capacities. Prior to Bixal, she was on the Strategic Communications team at Marriott International HQ in Bethesda, MD, where she supported a variety of global communications/recognition initiatives related to the acquisition of Starwood Hotels as they merged with the Marriott brand. Her core background is in magazine editing and feature-writing, having worked 17 years in association publishing and communications/marketing for the hospitality/lodging industry, as well as commercial/federal contracting practice area. She earned her master's degree in English from Villanova University in 1996 and loves to row on the Potomac River, practice yoga, and swim as fitness-hobbies -- as well as write, read, and travel the world visiting family & friends.
