Below you will find answers to frequently asked questions. 

How do I?

Create an account:
From the Agrilinks.org homepage, click on the “SIGN IN” button in the upper right corner. In the pop-up box, click “Create an Account” at the bottom right. Fill in the form, and click “Create account.” You will receive an email confirming your account. Click the link in the email to validate your email address.

Sign in:
From the Agrilinks.org homepage, click on the “SIGN IN” button in the upper right corner.

Fill out my profile:
Sign in to Agrilinks.org and click “MY ACCOUNT” in the upper right corner. Select “My Account.” Below your name, you will see options for “Account” and “Member Profile.” Click “My Profile” and fill out the fields. 

Request a new password:
From the Agrilinks.org homepage, click on the “SIGN IN” button in the upper right corner. In the pop-up box, click “Forgot password?” Enter your email address. A password reset link will be emailed to you.

Change my password:
From the Agrilinks.org homepage, click on the “SIGN IN” button in the upper right corner, and sign in to the site. In the upper right corner, click “MY ACCOUNT” and then click “MY ACCOUNT” again in the pop-up box. Enter your current password, and then your new password below.  

Post a blog or resource:
Unlike the old site, which delineated between blog posts, resources and videos, the new Agrilinks streamlines the posting process by offering a single, flexible content type through which any type of submission can be posted. Click the “+POST” button in the upper right corner and select “Create a Post” to post a blog or resource.
1. Enter a title.
2. Today’s date will be autopopulated.
3. Enter any authors in addition to yourself. (Click the “Add another Item” button to add more than one additional author.)
4. Upload an image to accompany your post. This will appear on the home page or topic page where your post lives. Images will automatically resize to fit users’ screens. Under “Poster Image,” click “Choose File.” Then, click Upload. In the “Alternate Text” box, enter a description of the photo and a photo credit, if needed. We recommend leaving the “Poster Position” as “Default.”
5. Enter a short description of your post. This is what readers will see on the home page or topic page where your post lives. Think about what will make readers want to click through to see your full post.
6. In the body section, enter the main copy for your post. You can type directly in the field. 
7. If you would like to embed a photo in your post, use the “Embedded Images” section. Click “Choose File,” choose your photo, and click “Upload.” 
8. Upload any additional files using the same steps.
9. Include any links that you would like to appear at the bottom of your post.
10. Select at least one topic from the list of 12 topics that is relevant to your post.
11. Add additional keywords by typing in the “Tags” search field. Separate them with commas.
12. If your post is part of a series, or related to an event, fill out the “Related To” field. Type the name of the other piece of content your post is related to.
13. Click save. Your post will be sent to the Agrilinks team for moderation and posted once approved.

Submit an event or training:
1. Click the “+POST” button in the upper right corner and select “Add an event.”
2. Enter a title, date, location
3. Enter the time of the event in the format: 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM
4. Enter any URLs you want to appear below your post.
5. Add a poster image, which will appear on the events page. Make sure the file is less than 5MB, and is between 624x624 and 1920x1080 pixels. Any aspect ratio should be ok.
6. Enter a short description of your post. This is what readers will see on the main events page. Think about what will make readers want to click through to see your full post.
8. In the body section, enter the main copy for your post. You can type directly in the field. 
9. Enter Event Hosting Organization. 
10. Add any external links. 
11. Select at least one topic that is relevant to your post (mandatory).
12. Add additional keywords by typing in the “Tags” search field. Separate them with commas.
13. Click save. Your post will be sent to the Agrilinks team for moderation, and posted once approved.

Explore topics:
From the Agrilinks Homepage, click “Topics” at the top left corner. From here, you can browse featured collections on important issues in inclusive market systems development. You can also browse on specific topics related to your work, like financial services, market systems, private sector engagement, and more.

Read blog posts:
You can access blog posts from our homepage, browse through different topic areas, or use our search function.

Start a new discussion:
To start a discussion, click the “+POST” button in the upper right corner and select “Start a discussion” from the options.

Join a discussion:
Select “DISCUSSIONS” in the navigation bar. Choose an existing discussion. Reply to the discussion in the text box under, “ADD NEW COMMENT” or reply to an existing reply by selecting “REPLY” under the comment you would like to respond to.

Register for a Agrilinks seminar or event:
Our monthly events feature experts discussing projects, tools and case studies. Stay ahead of the curve with in-depth programs on the most important topics in inclusive market systems development. Join us in person or online to learn from other practitioners and share your expertise.

Access presentations and seminar resources:
Search for “Event Resources” in the search bar.
