Information

USAID and the Renovation & Rehabilitation Collective Action Network of the Sustainable Coffee Challenge (SCC) are hosted this webinar on Renovation & Rehabilitation (R&R) for Resilient Coffee Farms on April 24, 2019. Aging or diseased coffee trees are a major constraint to productivity of smallholder coffee farmers. The recently completed and highly regarded guidebook, which is available in English, Spanish, and French, is aimed at all actors interested in helping coffee farmers with R&R.

We encourage USAID Missions, implementing partners, NGOs, and coffee exporters and roasters to watch the recording of this webinar to learn more about the collective goal and how to incorporate best practices, coordinate efforts, and leverage resources to help farmers renovate their aging and diseased coffee trees.

Presenters:

  • Raina Lang, Conservation International, Director of Sustainable Coffee Markets
  • Eric Poncon, ECOM Agroindustrial, Director, Strategy Management
  • Marcelo Burity, Nestle, Head of Green Coffee
  • Derek Bothereau, Starbucks, Sr. Manager, Global Responsibility

Filed Under: Agricultural Productivity Climate and Natural Resources Resilience
