The Latest from Market Systems and Partnerships: Semiannual Reports
The Feed the Future Market Systems and Partnerships (MSP) Activity is pleased to share its semiannual reports, captured here as each becomes available. Take a look to learn more about MSP's recent activities and results, including:
- The launch of private sector partnerships under MSP's Partnership Facility in southern Africa, with extensive co-development underway to finalize partnerships in Cambodia soon. A third partnership facility window in the Solomon Islands completed key design assessments and will launch in October 2021. MSP's three partnership buy-ins represent $11 million in funding currently approved to co-invest with the private sector via performance-based partnerships.
- The finalization of MSP's initial learning agenda, which covers five technical themes. MSP has launched multiple learning activities across all prioritized streams, including a Primer on Private Sector Engagement in Fragile and Conflict-Affected Situations, design work for a series of ex-post studies of USAID-funded market systems development activities to assess scale and sustainability, a market systems resilience community of practice and an evidence gap analysis on the return on investment from social inclusion for firms in developing countries.
- Reflections on challenges and iterative learning, a snapshot of key results to date and updates on key activity management and operations aspects.
The Feed the Future Market Systems and Partnerships Activity is advancing learning and good practice in market systems development and private sector engagement within USAID, USAID partners and market actors.
