Our seed and grain production packages have very low to zero interest on all input credits that comes with it. The package protects smallholder farmers from financial stress. Farmers pay back in kind at harvest-where we add value to the produce for our margins. We have eight-ton/hour cleaner and ten-ton/hour destoner in our warehouse for seed and grain cleaning.
We have out-growers in Mion, Yendi, Karaga, Gushegu, Nanton, Savelugu, Tolon and Sagnerigu districts. We are currently producing certified seeds of; soybeans, rice, cowpea and sorghum. Our grain production covers soybeans, rice, cowpea, maize and sorghum. We have over the years introduce improved certified seeds of various crops and varieties to farmers through our out-grower schemes and through series of demonstrations and periodic trainings. Smallholder farmers within our catchment areas have developed positive attitudes towards Good Agronomic Practices (GAP) and wide acceptance and usage of improved certified seeds. Thereby significantly improving yields, farmer income and enhanced livelihood.
