Mamun Jahun is an experienced process manager with over 10 years experience in project design, implementation and assessment. His core competency area is research, monitoring and evaluation. He has demonstrated the capacity for multi-disciplinary approach to monitoring and assessment of projects, employing analysis of technical, social and environmental issues, and exploring areas of sustainability. 

Mamun has designed and developed M&E systems and tools for various projects and programmes including, M&E frameworks (Logic Models and frameworks), results chains, M&E manuals, and resources projections. He has supported project teams to track project performance from initiation stages to close-out stages.

Mamun has experienced designing and conducting research; including pre-intervention (baseline), mid-term evaluation, end-line (impact evaluation) and operational research during implementation to provide evidence for project decisions. He has facilitated project close-outs for over 20 projects and 4 programmes ensuring appropriate documentation of tracked and achieved deliverables, and lessons learned.

Mamun has supported a wide variety of partners and stakeholder to develop and strengthen their capacity in the area of project monitoring and assessment including progress documentation and tracking, Data Quality Assessment (DQA), and tracking performance improvement plans. He has experience deploying mobile data collection tools for effective and efficient harvest of high-quality data.

Mamun Jahun has a Master’s degree in Development Studies and Masters in Business Administration (MBA). He is currently studying a Doctorate degree in Development Communication. He is a registered members of several professional bodies including the UK Evaluation Society and the American Evaluation Association. His academic background, trainings and experiences acquired through his various engagements has greatly sharpened his skills in managing and tracking strategic projects. Mamun has a special interest in gender specific M&E.

Mamun Jahun has successfully delivered various assessments and evaluation assignments for education, health and socio-economic programmes over the past 10 years.
