Tanzania Assistant Lecturer Saint Augustine University of Tanzania

Daniel Naila is a PHD Student (Agribusiness) at the Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) since November 2020. Prior to join PHD program he worked with the Saint Augustine University of Tanzania (SAUT) in various capacities including: Assistant Lecturer, Chief Planning Officer and Project Manager for Business Environment Project enabled by SAUT and BEST-Dialogue. He has consulted for a number of organizations including: Agriculture Non State Actor Forum (ANSAF), Business Environment Strengthening for Tanzania (BEST-Dialogue), Tanzania Cotton Board (TCB), Agriculture Council of Tanzania (ACT), Cocacola – Nyanza Bottling Company Limited (NBCL), Tanzania Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA-Mwanza, Mtwara & Lindi) and East Africa Grain Council (EGC).

Daniel has authored and coauthored three academic articles in the areas of: financial performance and environmental regulations, extension services and agriculture performance, and employability skills in manufacturing sector. His current research interest and focus is on the Business Model Innovation in Agribusiness firms. He has Master of Commerce from Strathmore University Business School (Nairobi)
