I was invited to be a teacher of Statistics and Informatics, School of Public Health from 1996-1999.

I held the position of Head of Nutrition Policy and Supervision Department, National Institute of Nutrition from 2010 to 2015

I was awarded a Master's Degree in Clinical Epidemiology in 2000 and a Doctorate in Clinical Epidemiology in 2008 from the University of Newcastle, Australia.

I am an expert in data management and analysis in nutrition and clinical epidemiology studies in the community and in national surveys.

My contributions are related to methods of information management in large studies and the application of information technology in data collection from the field. I have participated in many multinational studies as a data analyst and manager

Software applications in the management of nutrition consulting clinics, analysis of portions, and menu building for each separate group of subjects are still being used.

Applications using smart handheld devices in cohort studies have been developed and implemented by me in many countries in East Asia and South Asia.

I have been joined with Prof. Michael Dibley in several international surveys and large multi-centre trials evaluating opportunities to incorporate infant and young child feeding practices into nutrition policy in several countries. Southeast Asia, including Vietnam.
