Ntombizethu Mkhwanazi

Ms. Ntombizethu Mkhwanazi is a PhD student in Political Sciences, at the University of Pretoria. She is doing a transdisciplinary research between the faculty of National and Agricultural Sciences and Faculty of Humanities. 

Ms. Mkhwanazi obtained her Bachelor degree in Plant production and Extension at the University of Stellenbosch. Honours and Masters degrees in Agricultural Extension at the University of Pretoria. She is interested in plant production; plant protection; sustainable agriculture; agricultural extension: food safety; policy and governance. Her Ph.D research focuses on understanding the gaps and weaknesses in the food safety governance structure. She has a particular interest in understanding roles of different stakeholders in shaping and influencing food safety policy outcome.
