Anna Chilczuk

France Consultant TechnoServe

Anna brings a combination of management consulting skills from her six years with McKinsey & Company and experience in designing and implementing projects for inclusive impact, thanks to her leadership roles with recognized non-profit organizations in Africa and Asia. Anna’s professional interest lies in the development and implementation of sustainable, pro-poor multi-stakeholder partnerships, primarily in the agriculture sector. As an independent consultant she focuses on business development, strategic value chain and program assessments, and supporting public-private partnership development. As Regional Director with Mercy Corps, Anna oversaw projects in market systems development, financial inclusion, and climate change adaptation, with examples including a vegetable value chain initiative in Myanmar benefitting 15,000 farmers, and pilots in Indonesia with companies such as Syngenta, Bayer, John Deere to strengthen farmer groups. From 2015 to 2017, Anna represented civil society partners on the Steering Committee of Grow Asia. She was also a member of WEF’s New Vision for Agriculture “Leaders Transformation Network”. As Deputy Regional Director with TechnoServe, Anna was responsible for flagship programs such as Project Nurture, a horticulture value chain initiative funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Coca-Cola Company, demonstrating the ability of more than 50,000 farmers in Kenya and Uganda to double their fruit incomes. She also oversaw the African Alliance for Improved Food Processing – a partnership with General Mills, Cargill and DSM, co-funded by USAID, to strengthen local food processors.
