Dr. Farhad Zulfiqar is an Assistant Professor of Agribusiness Management at the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. Dr. Zulfiqar is an agricultural economist with scientific and professional interests in crosscutting issues including climate-smart agriculture, sustainable development in the context of climate change, agricultural and natural resource sustainability, innovations for sustainable development, and food and nutritional security. He has authored 30+ peer-reviewed journal articles and 3 book chapters. He has more than 10 years of research experience working with various international and national organizations on research projects related to climate-smart agriculture, water resource management, agriculture, food security, and circular economy. He has conducted research and outreach activities in various countries that include Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, Finland, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Thailand, the Netherlands, and USA. Presently, Dr. Zulfiqar is serving as Program Chair of Agribusiness Management academic program. His other responsibilities include teaching graduate-level courses, supervising Master and Doctoral students, and conducting research and outreach activities.
