Zinat Ara Afroze
Zinat is a development professional with more than 14 years of experience as a Knowledge Management and communication expert. She joined CARE Bangladesh’s flagship program SHOUHARDO III, as a Senior Team Leader for Knowledge Management, Research and Learning in October 2021. As a Commonwealth Scholar and UK alumna, Zinat earned solid skills in qualitative research methodology from the academic arena and is currently leading the research interventions for the SHOUHARDO III Plus program. Zinat is specialized in implementing USAID’s Collaborating, Learning and Adapting (CLA) approach and Adaptive Management Practice. Before joining CARE Bangladesh, Zinat worked as a communication expert for several international organizations such as the British Council, Winrock International, Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) and ActionAid Bangladesh. Zinat obtained her MSc in Environment and Development from the University of Reading, United Kingdom. Zinat introduces herself as a thought leader, storyteller, environmentalist and agriculturalist. Zinat enjoys her vacation traveling and working in her family farmhouse in her hometown.
