* As the Chairman, Barind Multipurpose Development Authority(BMDA), Ministry of Agriculture of the Govt. of Bangladesh, from 2015-2021 I had to Chair the Board meeting and organize meeting with the farmers group, Water Engineers and govt official advice them towards better and efficient use of irrigation water through 16 districts especially the northern part mostly drought prone areas.
* Established Build Back Better Foundation(B3F) in 2015, a NGO, originally founded to address movement for Recovery, Reconstruction and bounce back in time of natural calamities like flood,drought and full fill the objectives of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction(2015-2030).
*Joined in the active politics and elected as the Member of Parliament(MP) of Bangladesh Parliament (2009-2014). As one of the Member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Food and Disaster, participating in the different law making I got vast field experiences and insights from different farmers,researchers and scientist groups as to the reasons why and how our food system have already been broken which need immediate recovery from a number of ingredients such soil degradation, water scarcity,forestry , biodiversity, ecosystems restoration, climate crisis,energy, resource saving technologies and mechanization,food systems transformation including nutritional, safe and healthy food for all, capacity building of the smallholders,empowering young farmers including women and indigenous peoples,Covid-19 pandemic recovery, and lack of policy regulations etc.
* Through the help of your literature(AgriLink) I would like to develop a clear and fresh mandate of Build Back Better Foundation( B3F) to address above mentioned issues in order to start campaign for sustainable food Systems Transformation.AgriLink will be important for B3F.
