Boniface Musembi
Boniface Musembi is a Communications Specialist with a wealth of experience in development communication and social and behavior change communication. Boniface is an expert in impact communication, report writing & editing, video production and photography, social media management, public & media relations, and event planning & management.
Boniface is currently working as a Communications Manager for the USAID-funded Feed the Future Kenya Crops Dairy Market Systems Activity (KCDMS) implemented by RTI International in Kenya. His main role is to design and implement behavior-change communication strategies for multiple market systems stakeholders to promote increased technology adoption and innovations, good agricultural practice, improved nutrition as well as social inclusion. Additionally, Boniface handles the media and PR communications of the Activity focusing on enhancing USAID-KCDMS’ increased visibility and credibility among key stakeholders.
Previously, Boniface worked as a Programmes Communication Associate at Farm Concern International, where his main roles were designing and implementing communication strategies; impact documentation through case studies, technical write ups and newsletters; media and public relations to enhance the visibility of the organization, social media management; designing internal and external communication channels and development and production of communication materials.
Boniface has also worked as a Communications Consultant with Ray Africa Communications where he consulted for many development organizations and private companies. Boniface has as a degree in Language and Communication from The University of Nairobi and is pursuing his Masters degree in Development Communication.
