Melaku Tafese Awulachew is a food science and nutrition researcher at the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research. He majored in Chemical Engineering and earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree. Food Technology and Process Engineering, Biochemistry, Natural Products, Medical Biochemistry, Nutrition, food safety and post-harvest technology, food microbiology are among his scientific interests. His scholarly achievements have resulted in over 50 peer-reviewed papers, and he currently serves as a Reviewer, Associate Editor, and Section Editor for various journals.
