The Legume Systems Innovation Lab is seeking concept notes to support Area of Inquiry 3: Analysis of sociocultural and/or economic motivators or barriers to legume utilization at various stages and scales within production and market systems. The Legume Systems Innovation Lab will focus on three areas of inquiry (AOI):

• AOI1 - Integration of legumes into sustainable smallholder farming systems and agricultural landscapes
• AOI2 - Integration of legumes within local/regional market systems, including trade
• AOI3 - Analysis of sociocultural and/or economic motivators or barriers to legume utilization at various stages and scales within production and market systems

Concept notes for AOI2 are also being accepted. Deadline for AOI2 concept notes is July 8, 2019.  For more information on AOI2 visit piestar.
